My bench area. The bench was built about 1980 on the balcony of my apartement in Reston, VA. The top is made of scavenaged two by fours glued together and hand planed flat. I was up to my knees in shavings by the time I was finished. I added the tail vise sometime later using plans from Fine Woodworking magazine.
